According to Mike Coughlin of F4WOnline, the son of Mexican wrestling legend Perro Aguayo went limp while on the ropes in position to take Mysterio's 619 finishing maneuver. It is unclear what caused the incident, but the 35-year-old star was treated by medical personnel before being transported to a hospital, where he was ultimately pronounced dead.
Following news of El Hijo del Perro Aguayo's untimely death, many involved with the wrestling business expressed their condolences on Twitter, including the famed Pro Wrestling Illustrated magazine:
